International Coffee Day!

Oh yes, it really is a thing. Of course some people probably don't know about it, because they may not have as much coffee coursing through their veins as I do... but none the less it is to be celebrated!

I saw this quote and I thought, it is so true... I often call coffee my 'mojojuice'... I have my coffee I get inspiration- I create- you get free printables :) See how important coffee is to our symbiotic relationship? Now don't you want to celebrate with me?

The dates appear to differ in different countries, I am Canadian and at the moment I am in China, so I will be celebrating with my North American counterparts today! Wooohoooot bring on the caffeine :)

Hi Y'all!

Hi Y'all! What's shaking in your world?  We are still in China and I am still loving it... I *might* be missing home a little... and yesterday a.lot.


What I've learned so far:

~ Shanghai is huge, busy, bustling and beautiful- I prefer my small town of Taicang.  And Chinese characters, no matter how long I stare at them, never reveal their meaning to me-  Instead they remain mysteriously beautiful works of art... each and everyone of them.


On another note- This print would look fabulous printed out in card format- who doesn't love snail mail! I'l be ordering some for myself :)

It's Fall Y'all!

Apparently it's fall :) I have yet to feel that fresh crisp air and the crunchy leaves under my feet, but I know when I get home I will be greeted with my favourite season of the year... Fall. Autumn. Love.

Until then, I am hunkered down weathering out Tropical Storm Fung-Wong... affectionately known as Mario to the rest of the world.  So far Fung-Wong has graced us with some wind and rain... which means I'll spend my day inside, most likely worrying about the hubby at work, and creating pretty things! (Praying for more creating -than worrying- "who of you, by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"  Matthew 6:22 )

I Wake Up Awesome.

'tis true! I do, well if loud equals awesome then I do...
I wake up wide awake, fires a roaring, ready to go- you know all of that stuff about no talkie before coffee... it's a myth in my house, I start talking the moment my eyes open. I'm not a quiet morning person, although I like others to be quiet while I meander about making my coffee, humming and singing and well, just being me.

Drives the hubby crazy.

How about you? Do you wake up awesome? Even quiet wakers can be awesome wakers :)

I made this print for my niece Kiki- She is awesome - all. the. time. She's a quiet waker, just watching, listening, but you can see the sparkle in her eyes the moment she opens them. She wakes up awesome. Quietly awesome.  This one's for you Kiki, Auntie Miss-Miss misses you a lot! a. lot.

Go Explore.

I'm trying to convince myself to go explore today, for some reason I am so tired and cold, I can barely keep my eyes opened let alone go explore. All I want is peanut butter and toast, a hot cup of tea and a nap.

So instead I'll encourage you, go out and explore something, do it for me, I'll be napping :)
