Bakers Gonna Bake.

This week I learned that sitting for more than three hours a day basically kills you. I've been sitting for the past year probably 8 hours a day, so basically I'm dead already :) BUT do you know what does offset this death trap? It's something really simple. It's getting up every hour and stretching, dancing, moving for 5-10 minutes. Going to the gym doesn't even have the same effect as getting up, every hour, during your day.

So... I've been taking dance breaks (every hour- and I'm kinda religious about it, I actually set my timer).  I was dancing about today to Taylor Swift's Shake it off and this cutie came to me...

So for all of you Bakers out there, some by passion, some by trade, some by name (ahem, me) this one is for you!

Rise and Shine!

Rise and Shine, it's coffee time!

Coffee may or may not be one of my favourite things to get out of bed for. Today, it is rainy, it is dark, cold, and did I mention rainy. The hubby (my favourite thing/ person/ entity to get out of bed + hang out with) left super early this morning. I got up and sent him off, with a kiss and a wave, then slid back into bed, for what I figured would be, maximum,  an hour.  Four hours later I woke up- oops.

Today I got up, because of coffee... warm, dark, wonderful coffee.

I hope you are fully caffeinated this fine Tuesday morning!

Coffee, Why? What do you believe in?

Good Morning! Technically it is almost noon here, I am a little slow on the draw these past couple of days! But I will get back into the swing of things!

Dreaming of Coffee.

I'm away from home, chilling with my dad visiting family and getting all of his Christmas shopping done. Want to know what I miss most (after my hubby, and my Dog) - good coffee.

I miss my 454 Horsepower coffee from Kicking Horse Coffee, I miss my french press, I miss my cozy chair.  -Oh don't get me wrong,  I am having a blast. But tonight I am dreaming of coffee -at home -in the morning!

I've had so many compliments on this collection that I thought I would revamp it slightly. This is a series of 5 from the Bitch'n Kitch'n collection I chose to edit :) I decided to call it the 'Cupcake Collection'... because I can see these hanging in kitchens whose owners are baker and love making delicious sweets- that I myself, LOVE to eat!
