Do you ever get overwhelmed with a feeling that things are changing? That dreams are loading, that something is going to happen?

I do, and then I am in a waiting period to see what happens. Sometimes it comes fast, sometimes it comes slow... very slowly.

I'm in that Dream period right now, where my mind is racing a mile a minute, trying to figure it all out, and waiting patiently all at the same time. It's a real place. I live in this space a lot, and it can be unsettling, the only thing that I do I know, is- I don't have to know, I just have to trust. Knowing that keeps me sane in this time and space...

Do you ever feel that? How do you just wait, relax into the chaos, and let those dreams load?

Z is for Zebra Speed Painting Video

Messy Missie.

I just looked around my house, and this is all I can say...
"creativity is messy, and I am *very* creative"

In all seriousness though, I've always kept my house tidy, but this year, my creative year, it has really gotten away from me. I need someone -anyone- to help me... I have so much stuff! I know I need to get rid of some of it... but when I look around my home I love to be inspired by beautiful things that I love,  that make me laugh or that bring back memories. I think I can give myself a pass on those things... but let's talk about the fact that I have not unpacked from my previous trip and I ought to be packing for my next trip. The next trip means serious packing, long haul, not just blasé packing. Oy! Get it together Messy Missie!

Oh well! for the moment I'm ignoring the mess and enjoying my coffee!

Don't Let Your Passion Get Lost in the Planning!

Sometimes the project and the passion get lost in the planning. Starting something new isn't easy. But you've just gotta start!

When we were getting ready to open our restaurant, my Husband's response when asked "Are you guys ready?" came down to: "We're doing it, sink or swim baby, sink or swim." He's kinda my hero. I love when I tell him about something and his response is; "do it, you'll be awesome at that!" Seriously! and then he proceeds to ask me the logistical questions of which I totally ignore, because... well I'm me.  Planning isn't bad, you need to make a plan, but don't do it for 10 years- start something today!

Today is the day!
Today is YOUR Day!
Stop Planning!
Start Doing!
Sink or Swim Baby,
Sink or Swim.

Gratitude.

Gratitude turns what you have into enough. I know this to be very true. The hubby and I have gone through so much with fertility issues in the past 4 years,  that I had spun into a very dark place. I was so unhappy that I could not have the one thing I desired more than anything. I felt like everyone else took it for granted. Then one day, out of the blue, it was as though a light turned on. All of a sudden I could see my life, I could see how wonderful things were. I became so grateful for all that I had. I stopped concentrating on the one thing I didn't have- It changed my life. I am so thankful that I was given a chance to see the light. I am so grateful for all that I have, the people in my life, and the world we live in.  That change of spirit and attitude allowed me to start being creative again, to create beautiful things that I can send out into the world, like this printable. This print- is very close to my heart...

Gratitude turns what you have into enough, and might I add... More than enough... <3

Choose the letter that your name starts with (first name, last name, both names)
Print it off, frame it up, et Voilà!
Beautiful artwork in your home, at your office, or wherever you want it. You could also print off an entire word- Peace, Love, Joy, fall, boo, etc. - heck print off your entire name, whatever you want, the possibilities are endless!
