Thanksgiving is over,  Christmas festivities are in full swing- but let's not lose the spirit of gratitude.

Happy Friday! In the USA it is Black Friday- the largest shopping day of the year, and I guess the day that kicks off the Christmas season (?)

Were you in the shops today?

Every once in awhile a company will have Black Friday sales up here in Canada- but for the main part, it is just plain Friday- and I'm ok with that!

Simply.

The Holidays are coming on with a vengeance and I love it!
But there is something I will keep in mind this year: simplicity.

Simply being, simply living, simply loving. Excess is not necessary. I will try to avoid being caught up in the craziness of buying things. (things I don't need, things my friends and family do not need.)

I will try to instead be caught up in spending time with people.
Talking, loving, connecting.

This will be my simple reminder.

A Special Reminder for Everyone, Especially You.

In this wonderful world that we live in, where anything is possible, and hopes and dreams do come true. There is an underlying current of self hatred. Our young people are not loving themselves, I'm not talking in an arrogant way, I'm talking about loving and understanding that; 

no matter who we are,
no matter what we look like,
no matter our age,
no matter our talents or abilities,
we are of VALUE.

YOU HAVE VALUE. 

This is my hope and prayer for all -but especially for our young people;

know that you are valuable, just because you are you.

Coffee. That's what's up.

Good Friday Morning! I am sitting here enjoying my cup of coffee- I am currently a french press girl.  I solely brew Kicking Horse Coffee*. I love the smooth deep flavour- if you haven't tried it, you should. My blend is the 454 Horsepower.

But this french press poses a problem, as the hubby doesn't know how to make it, nor does he want to learn. So no more waking up to the smell of freshly ground and brewed coffee... He flat out refuses to learn. He had just got the hang of the machine, and I then tried the french press. Seriously, I was hooked. I guess its my nobody's fault, really.

So how do you brew your coffee? I am looking for new ideas - share in the comments below!

10 Christmas Card Prints - Apparently I have Christmas on the Brain. Oy.

Happy Wednesday!

Thought I would take a few of the Christmas Printables and put them in a 5x7 version, so that you can have them printed at your local photo processing place in a card version.

I chose the 5x7 size because Walmart can do them in 1 hour :) and there is a Walmart on every corner in Canada and the US. (If you have another printshop- I prefer Costco- feel free to do that!)

So if you haven't got your Christmas cards yet- here you go :)
