New Year, New Hype.

Seriously the new year always comes with huge hype. Everything is going to be different, it's a HUGE time of the year for everyone- even the people who say they don't make resolutions, still have that sense of a brand new slate...

So I've been trying to get my stuff together, this year is kinda big for us, I am pretty scared about everything on my list of goals, it's all out of my comfort zone... all of it. (save maybe the part where I get to sneak away and visit my mom)- but everything else, YES.

So in amidst all of the hype, this is what I keel telling myself-

More fun, less fear.
More doing, less talking.

I needed to write it, maybe you needed to hear it, but we all need to share it :)

Life is Better at The Beach!

There are some who would say life is better at the beach...

One of those people is my sister in law Val, who blogs over at Zen Shmen! She is celebrating a birthday today :) Val, this one's for you!

I grew up near the ocean, and I can attest on a day, when nothing seems right and everything feels yucky, the sound of the waves is all you need to calm you down.
