One day at a time.

When you are planning a crazy move, half way around the world, you have to take one day at a time... you can't look at the big picture because it is overwhelming and crippling. It's one day at a time, and sometimes one hour at a time, and one moment at a time. When life gives you a big'ol project that seems overwhelming when you look at it, break it down into baby steps.

My favourite way of explaining this to people, is by asking this question:

How do you eat an elephant? ... one bite at a time baby, one bite at a time.

So how am I living this amazing life? One bite at a time baby, one bite at a time.

LostBumblebee soon to be on the loose... again.

Ever have an opportunity that was so good you just couldn't miss it... and then once you said yes... well you were scared to death?

Ya, that. It's a big year here for me and the Mister... we are packing up and getting ready to head out on another huge adventure... one that will change our lives forever. For. Ever.  We are packing up for longer than we've ever packed up for, we are headed half way around the world, and we will be living life on purpose on the other side of globe. Living life on purpose, that is how we started living our lives two years ago... with a purpose- not letting life happen to us, but making our own lives.  On this new adventure, do I know what my purpose will be yet? Nope. I'm sure I'll find out when I get there. But do I have a purpose? Absolutely!

When you are challenged with big things, and you are scared to death, how do you deal with it? What do you do to calm yourself down... get yourself organized... and get on with it?

Now is Your Moment to Love and Shine.

Maybe just maybe, you were created for this moment... no matter what you are going through, perhaps this is your moment to shine.

You were definitely created for a purpose.. most people spend years looking for their purpose... I did. I was unhappily searching for what I was suppose to do in life, what is my purpose? Everyone else seems to know what their purpose is, what about me? One morning I was reading the bible, and there is was, right in front of me... Love. Love God, Love your Neighbour. Jesus said it, plain as day. There you have it, there was my purpose... and now every passion, hobby, or job I have, every adventure we go on, I have a purpose- no matter what, to love... just to love.

Whatever it is you are going through, understand that your purpose is to love, and go through your daily life in light of love. Understand that you were created with a purpose... and know this is your moment to love and shine.

Rise Up. Take Courage. Do it.

Sometimes it's just that easy.
Get up, have courage, and do it.

Sometimes all you need is 2 minutes of courage.
Just two minutes...

And sometimes it's not that easy.
Sometimes its hard, sometimes you can't get a clear picture, sometimes everything feels fuzzy. My Mom would say: when you don't know what to do, do nothing at all... and never make a decision at night.
